Also you can always contact by sending us an e-mail to zsb@uni-bielefeld.de.

A quick note when calling us: While we are currently mainly working from Home Office it appears that you hear a dial tone even while we're occupied by another phone call (instead of hearing a busy tone). In this case, please try one of the other numbers or try again a little later.

*Until further notice, we are currently not accepting calls that are suppressed or displayed as "unknown number". If you do not want your number to be displayed, please contact us by email (first).

You may contact the ZSB with any questions you may have concerning your studies. Whether it is a matter of

  •  Deciding what to study,
  •  study opportunities at the University and elsewhere, to
  •  initial questions on how to organise and finance studies
  •  or change of subject and study orientation if you have been with us for a longer period of time

We are open to your enquiries.

Our advice is free and confidential. If you wish, you can remain anonymous.

We will answer e-mail inquiries as quickly and in as much detail as possible. However, you are also welcome to call us to clarify initial questions. This sometimes helps save unnecessary trips and is sometimes more effective than e-mail contact because of any follow-up questions that may be necessary.

For each phase of study – before you study, application, enrolment, study start, etc. – you will find some general information on our ZSB homepage.

By the way, our drop-in advice service applies equally to those seeking general advice / information on studies as well as psychosocial counselling.
