Regular course of studies in the Master

The standard period of study for the Master of Education is 4 semesters. The M. Ed. is designed in such a way that the individual semester contents build on each other. If you follow the regular course of studies, the second semester is your practical semester with preparatory training. The practical semester with preparatory training is embedded in the curriculum. On the one hand, this means that you prepare for the practical phase in the first semester with preparatory training (VPS), attend the accompanying events (BPS) during the practical semester, and then reflect on your experiences (RPS) and continue to work with the skills you have acquired. On the other hand, the events in the 3rd and 4th subject related semester often tie in with the competencies and experiences acquired during the practical semester. In addition, further Content of teaching is taught in the 3rd and 4th Master's semester. In order to complete your M. Ed. in the regular course of study, good planning of your Bachelor's degree is necessary. You must be enrolled in the M. Ed. in time at the beginning of the semester to be able to register for the practical phase. You can find out everything you need to know about the run-up to the practical semester with preparatory training on the pages on the practical semester.
