Information for prospective students

We are pleased that you are interested in one of our degree programmes. On the following pages you will find further information and we will introduce you to the Faculty and the degree programmes from the perspective of the students and professors.

The expectation check allows you to compare your ideas and expectations of the degree program with the actual requirements and program content.  You will also gain some initial impressions of health communication as a field of research, of the degree program and of possible future fields of activity.

Here you will also find all the dates for information events at which you can learn more about us and our degree programs. Information on the structure, contents and application for the degree programs can be found on the relevant pages.

What exactly does one do in this degree program?
What is expected of me?
What can I actually do with it later?

You can get a first impression of the requirements for our bachelor's degree program in this video.

The expectation check is intended to help you compare your own knowledge and personal expectations regarding program content, requirements and career opportunities with the actual circumstances. It is not a test of your suitability for the degree program, but is intended to address or clarify important questions about the degree program.

In the expectation check, you will see statements for each topic area that must be marked as true or false. Immediately after answering, you will be notified as to whether your assessment was correct or incorrect and you will also receive a justification or explanation. Allow approx. 10-15 minutes for the check!

You can start the expectation check HERE (currently being revised).

You can get an initial impression of the requirements for our Master's program in this video.
